Maps & Atlases brought the crazy math rock heat at The Troubadour this past Friday night. I've made a pledge to be more present at concerts – taking less photos and almost never taking video – which is really sad in this case because a photo just can't help convey the amazingly complex licks that Dave Davison lays down while wailing in his incredibly unique voice. It was an amazing show and I highly suggest checking them out if they're in your neck of the woods. Since this doesn't quite do it, check out what I mean on this Youtube clip.
